Turkey Sausage Bow Tie Skillet

Yield: 2 - Servings
Hot Italian turkey sausages is recommended for this recipe. This serves two.
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil |
1 Cup Frozen Peas |
2 To 3 Spicy Or Mild Turkey |
2 Cups Pasta Bow Ties |
-Sausages, Remove From Skin |
Parmesan Cheese |
8 Ounces Button Mushrooms, Sliced |

In a large pot bring water to boil and cook pasta. (About 15 to 20 minutes). Once pasta is cooked leave in water until ready to use. Meanwhile heat oil in deep non-stick frying pan. Remove skin from sausages and fry in oil breaking up turkey in small pieces. Once turkey is cooked remove and set aside. Add mushrooms to pan (add more oil if needed) and cook until done to your liking. Return turkey to frying pan, add peas and cook until peas are thawed. Fold in pasta and mix well. Add 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese and serve immediately. Sprinkle more Parmesan if desired. Serve with a nice salad and glass of wine. I used the hot Italian turkey sausages from Maple leaf.
