1 Pound Stir Fry Pkg Steak, Thinly |
2 Teaspoons Brown Sugar |
-Sliced |
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Thyme, (use |
1/2 Teaspoon Each Salt, Black |
-Grinder To Make It Fine) |
-Pepper And Garlic Powder |
1 Large Green Or Red Pepper, |
1 Tablespoon Flour |
-Sliced Into Strips |
1 1/4 Cups Beef Broth Or 1 Cube Of |
1 Medium Onion, Sliced Into Thin |
-Beef In Water |
-Rings |
2 Tablespoons Barbecue Sauce |
4 Soft Round Plain Or Onion Rolls |
Place steak in a medium bowl and sprinkle with paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add flour and toss to coat all sides. Spray a large, non-stick skillet with non-stick spray. Add steak and cook over medium-high heat until lightly browned and no longer pink. Add broth, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and thyme. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add green or red pepper and onions. Cover and simmer for approx. 10 more minutes, stirring occasionally. If mixture is too saucy, continue to simmer, uncovered, until most of the liquid has evaporated. Serve on warm the onion or plain rolls. Yummy!!
