This recipe makes 7 cups
2 Roasted Red Pepper |
1/2 Tsp Salt And Pepper |
2 Garlic Cloves |
28 Ounce Can Diced Tomatoes |
1 Onion |
7.5 Ounce Can Pizza Sauce |
1 Jalapeno Pepper (Optional) |
1 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce |
1 Lb Lean Ground Beef |
2 Cups Baby Spinach, Chopped |
1 Tsp Dried Basil, Oregano And |

-Thyme Leaves |

1. Coarsely chop roasted peppers. Mince garlic. Finely chop onion. Core and seed jalapeno, then finely chop. Place all in a large saucepan. Crumble in beef. Sprinkle with seasonings. Stir in tomatoes, pizza sauce and Worcestershire. 2. Bring to a boil, stirring often, over high heat. Then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until meat loses its red colour and sauce thickens slightly, 15 minutes. Spoon over hamburger bun or English muffins, if you like. Sprinkle with spinach.
