Sausage (Italian) Pasta

Spaghetti Noodles |
1/4 Cup Dry Red Wine |
1/2 Teaspoon Olive Oil |
1 Teaspoon Sugar |
2 Italian Sausages (hot Or Sweet) |
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Basil |
2 Cloves Garlic, Crushed |
1/4 Teaspoon Oregano |
1 Small Onion, Coarsely Chopped |
1/4 Teaspoon Chili Flakes, Optional |
1/2 Green Pepper, Seeded & Diced |
Parmesan Cheese (optional), |
1 Can (14 1/2 Ounces) Tomatoes |

1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil to cook pasta. As soon as it's boiling rapidly, add pasta. Cook, uncovered, stirring often, until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large wide saucepan set over medium-high heat. Immediately squeeze sausage meat from casings into saucepan. Add garlic. Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring often with a fork to keep meat separated. 3. While sausage is cooking, chop onion and pepper. Then stir into sausage meat. Add crushed tomatoes, wine, sugar and seasonings. Stir until mixed. Simmer 10 to 15 min.. Serve with pasta.
