Muffins (Pumpkin #1)

Yield: 16 Servings
3 Cups Flour |
1/4 Teaspoon Cloves |
1 Cup Brown Sugar |
1/4 Teaspoon Allspice |
2 Tablespoons White Sugar |
1/4Teaspoon Ginger |
4 Teaspoons Rounded Baking Powder |
1 Cup Milk |
1 Teaspoon Salt |
1 Cup Canned Pumpkin |
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon |
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce |
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg |
2 Eggs |
Mix dry ingredients. Mix liquid ingredients. Combine. If desired, add 1/2 to 3/4 cup raisins (omit the 2 tablespoons of white sugar) and 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans. Fill sprayed (Pam) muffin tins almost to top. Makes 15-16 muffins. Bake 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
