Muffins (Pumpkin #1)

Yield: 16 Servings

3 Cups Flour 1/4 Teaspoon Cloves
1 Cup Brown Sugar 1/4 Teaspoon Allspice
2 Tablespoons White Sugar 1/4Teaspoon Ginger
4 Teaspoons Rounded Baking Powder 1 Cup Milk
1 Teaspoon Salt 1 Cup Canned Pumpkin
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg 2 Eggs

Mix dry ingredients. Mix liquid ingredients. Combine. If desired, add 1/2 to 3/4 cup raisins (omit the 2 tablespoons of white sugar) and 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans. Fill sprayed (Pam) muffin tins almost to top. Makes 15-16 muffins. Bake 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
