3 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds, Toasted |
3 Tablespoons Lemon Or Lime Juice |
1 19 Ounce Can Chick Peas, Drained |
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced |
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil |
1/4 To 1/2 Teaspoon Salt |
Finely Chopped Parsley, To Taste |
Pepper To Taste |
In small skillet, toast sesame seeds over medium heat until golden, shaking the pan often. Set aside. Place chick peas, oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper in blender and blend till smooth. If too thick, add 2 - 3 tablespoons of chick pea juice. Add sesame seeds and parsley. Blend; chill.
